These two brothers, Irvin and Edgar, and the mechanics that work with and for S.M.G. Auto Repair are pretty wonderful. Their work is good and thorough and they're competent and caring. I left my dealership because I was being treated poorly both in terms of pricing and service and thankfully found this business. I would highly recommend S.M.G. to anyone who wants to have a positive experience with their car's repairs and with the way they're treated.

Went in for an inspection and the guys were super nice and honest with me. They weren't able to provide what I needed but I will definitely be returning for other services!

Irvin and Edgar are fantastic. So honest, so helpful, so knowledgeable and very reasonable pricing. They always try to help you save money, rather than other mechanics who try to help you spend money! Highly recommend them.

I think they’re great, for me it’s convenient. I’m in the neighborhood but my friend who referred me to them lives in Northridge and has his car service here. I got an oil change service brake inspection yesterday.. nothing they can’t do.

I’ve been coming here for about 7 years now, one of the few shops I’ve found in LA that hasn’t tried to lie about unnecessary repairs. They’re honest and always do a clean job with a timely turnaround. Irvin is running a great shop and I highly recommend!!

They helped me fix my engine light and also on a different occasion my starter. Both times they used quality parts and got the job done extremely quickly (within just a few hours), and for a very fair price.

It's always nerve-racking finding someone to work on your car and the team at SMG auto quickly put me at ease. They were very friendly from the get-go and were able to fix my car by replacing several parts of the suspension system within a day. I was very impressed by their affordable and quality work, and would recommend this spot to anyone.
